Summary

What would the world be like if 80 percent of the population manifested superpowers called “Quirks”? Heroes and villains would be battling it out everywhere! Being a hero would mean learning to use your power, but where would you go to study? The Hero Academy of course! But what would you do if you were one of the 20 percent who were born Quirkless?

A new player emerges in the underground world of villains in the form of the Meta Liberation Army。 Led by the CEO of the Detnerat Corporation, the MLA is preparing for a new metahuman revolution。 In their eyes, the League of Villains is an obstacle to be removed, but Tomura and his band of miscreants aren’t about to go down quietly。 It’s army versus league in all-out war, and dominance must be established。

If I could give a higher rating than five… I would。 This volume was amazing?? Probably my favourite so far… I’m becoming way too attached to this series :’)This followed the League of Villains and their encounter with the Meta Liberation Army。 Honestly… Re-Destro is one ugly dude and he freaks me out (even more than Shigaraki so that’s saying something)。 I love when stories give us a multiple perspective because it just adds that extra layer of understanding and world-building that can really ma If I could give a higher rating than five… I would。 This volume was amazing?? Finally, The Main Antagonists are Given There Own Arc!! This Level is What Should The Story Gives and Rise From it! Stunning Action, Giving Our Antagonists More Depth and OMG!!! TOMURA FINALLY 🤯🔥! The Level of adrenaline Boost I Got From This Volume is Soooo High, I Hope That The Story Continues With That Level!

I’ve been interested to see how Shigaraki got to the point that he’s at now, and this answered a lot of my questions。

This current story arc has changed my mind about the weakest part of the series so far, the villains。 I honestly like them just as much or more than the main heros at this point。 All the villains are really cool and have unique backstories。 Huge game changer。

This is literally the best volume I read so far

Oh, how the tables have turned。 This Villain Arc is being executed well thank goodness because it could have gone either way, but it's escalating the tensions really well。 Oh, how the tables have turned。 This Villain Arc is being executed well thank goodness because it could have gone either way, but it's escalating the tensions really well。 。。。more

Decided to read the manga cause I can't wait for the anime update。 The Villains origins were so daaamnn good。 Twice and toga's ship is going strong。 Yes, I miss my Class 1-A but the villain arc is just full action I wasn't bored。 We also get to see the relationships between the league's members, how they started as just purely co-members to a family。 ❤ Decided to read the manga cause I can't wait for the anime update。 The Villains origins were so daaamnn good。 Twice and toga's ship is going strong。 Yes, I miss my Class 1-A but the villain arc is just full action I wasn't bored。 We also get to see the relationships between the league's members, how they started as just purely co-members to a family。 ❤ 。。。more

This was a masterpiece

Fairly Pleasant

The in depth backstory of a few of the main baddies of the story and introducing new ones with compelling ideologies。 This one definitely reinforces my love for the series and makes me keep wanting more。

If I had a dollar for every time I read this series and thought “someone should call Child Services” I’d be pretty rich。 Anyway, I enjoyed learning more about Toga and Shigaraki’s histories。 Although, I felt like this League of Villains v Meta Liberation plot really dragged on。 This series is an interesting blend of action and family drama, to be honest。 (Only for the male characters though???)

afraid that he might vanish when doing so。 As more of him starts to appear, they start fighting Twice and hurting Toga。 But something was different from the Twices he was fighting。 They were robots。 Outnumbered, the robots break Twice’s arm。 Unfortunately for them, that was the one thing Twice needed to get over his fear。 Once the realization hit that Twice was the real one, he started making hundreds of doubles of himself to fight the army。 Twice defeated the robots and 5 of him, stayed back to save Toga。 All the other ones are now fighting off the rest of the Detnerat Company。 The huge beast Shigaraki was brawling just woke up, and is making its way to the Detnerat Company。 As this news was stated, Shigaraki and Spinner were fighting off another team。 Spinner was getting hated on because he looks like a lizard, so he started losing his Temper and fighting stronger。 Shigaraki was fighting with strength that was never shown before in previous volumes too。 The whole army was just fighting and highly triggering the LOV。 Calling them the antagonist and talking about how they shouldn’t exist。 After defeating a large group of people, Shigaraki had to face Yotsubayashi。 Yotsubayashi’s quirk is stress。 The more stress he has, the bigger he becomes。 Yotsubayashi becomes a giant and starts crushing Shigaraki’s hands, his quirk。 This action activated Shigaraki’s trauma and unlocked all the memories from when he was younger。 This volume showed 4-year-old Shigaraki wanting to become a hero but with an unsupportive family。 His dad has trauma with heroes, so his son becoming one was out of the question。 Shigaraki was late with his quirk, so his quirk, decay, didn’t exist。 By how many times Shigaraki had cried because of his dad, his family would constantly give him hugs and hold his hands。 Shigaraki’s quirk gets activated if at least 4 of his fingers are on an object。 Volume 24 ended with Shigaraki’s quirk manifesting while he was hugging his dog。If I were to recommend this book to anyone, I would recommend it to my two friends, Mariana and Fergie。 They both have watched the anime and are still obsessed with it。 I know Fergie is going to read this book soon, but I don’t know about Mariana。 This series is suited for both boys and girls。 I feel like both would enjoy the storyline and the characters in it。 As long as they’re above the age of 10, anyone can read it。 Mrs。 Desimone, I don’t know if this series is the type of book you’ll like, but I would recommend it to your husband。 I remember you telling the class that he watches My Hero Academia so I have a feeling he might enjoy this book too。Throughout the fourth marking period, I have been reading quite a few books。 The only problem I’ve been having trouble with, in this marking period, is updating Goodreads。 Most of the books I read aren’t big-time books and I usually like reading them on my own, so then I end up not being able to use any of them on my Goodreads。 Though I am very pleased with the amount of reading I have done throughout this marking period, I am disappointed about how much I’ve been struggling lately to keep up with the app。 Next time we do this, I’ll be sure to keep everything at a steady pace and maybe update 4 times weekly。 。。。more
